CORONAVIRUS UPDATE:

SEA Church Family,

We have been watching closely the development of the coronavirus pandemic both locally and globally, and wanted to give you an update on our plan moving forward. *** We have decided to suspend all services through the end of March and will be evaluating our April and Easter plans as more information is being released.

We are at a critical point in the development of the pandemic and as a local church we desire to exercise wisdom and do our part. We are not drawing back as a local church. However, we are taking steps to prevent unnecessary opportunity for further transmission of COVID-19.

In John 16, Jesus is teaching the disciples. He is foretelling of his death and resurrection, and explaining the direct access to the Father that his followers receive as a result. He is exhorting them to prayer and to faith. He ends this address with a pertinent encouragement that I believe is a needed reminder for us all today: “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” • John 16:33 NIV

SEA Church, let us be reminded of the God that we serve. The God that created this world. The God that has overcome the world. The God that is our healer, our protector, our deliverer and our provider. His love is unfailing, His peace is unshakable, His mercy and kindness unending, and His grace is all that we need! He has overcome the challenges of our world past, present and future. So receive His peace today SEA Church. He is Emmanuel, the God that is present with us.

As we stated above, we are not drawing back. We are committed more than ever to “BEING THE CHURCH”. We will be releasing details on our plan for worshipping and building community going forward over the next couple days including online video messages!

Until then, please follow and engage via social media to get the latest updates and to engage in community with us!
